Hungry Talks

Hungry Talks is a 10-episode talk show produced by RMIT’s third-year advertising and media students, where industry experts are invited to share their knowledge, experiences, and “food for thought” on the ever-evolving world of advertising.

I had the privilege of being the Co-host and Copywriter for the 2024 season —
researching guests, shaping conversations, crafting scripts, and bringing each episode to life.

From social impact strategies to AI’s impact on creativity, each episode explored how advertising is evolving —and what it takes to thrive in the industry today.

Some of the incredible guests we featured on the show include:

Matthew Chen — AWARD School National Winner

GG McG — ARIA-nominated Creative Director

Kimberlee Wells — CEO of TBWA Melbourne

Bob Isherwood — Former Worldwide Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi

Russel Howcroft — Media Personality & Gruen Panellist

Reflections

Watching the episodes back, there were moments I desperately wished I’d asked better questions or followed up to dig deeper — but it’s all part of the learning.

Hungry Talks pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a listener, speaker, and storyteller. I’m grateful for the journey, and there’s still plenty of room to grow!
